The Accidental Farm is a place where our love of nature, of life and of each other comes crashing together and creates agricultural miracles that surprise us every day. We are an extended family of adults and kids and we share in the dreaming, the scheming and the work. Together, we watch as our destiny as farmers unfolds through countless accidents and mishaps. And in the end, we love each other a little more, we can teach our kids about respectfully living on our little marble, and we laugh our asses off through it all.

To date (06/23/09) The Accidental Farm:

* raises Barred Rock, Rhode Island Red, Polish layers and sells the eggs
* raises one super-lonely Peacock…we know, we’re working on it
* practices to the best of our ability organic growing
* grows over 20 different vegetables and over 20 different herbs for sale (and mostly consumption)
* cans, freezes and dries the crop
* grows evergreen trees for sale
* produces maple syrup and maple beer
* has one hive of Italian honey bees
